Outreach
CrossRoads has made it a recent mission to help support people in eastern Kentucky who were severely impacted by flooding in late July. With one of our members who has family there, the church rallied to gather urgently needed items, which we delivered in several trips to Rockhouse Baptist Church in Hyden, KY.
Our outreach to and support of them will continue, working with local churches and groups, especially as affected community members head into winter - many in FEMA trailers, campers and temporary housing.
CrossRoads is glad to share space for weekly meetings of two support groups, Alcholics Anonymous and Eating Disorders Anonymous.
We also have helped prepare meals for Restored Paths Ministry in Cleveland, which - among other things - provides the homeless with the gospel of Jesus Christ and takes hot meals to their locations.
Other outreach activities include volunteering with and at times collecting items for the Village Project in Bay Village, which provides meals and service to our neighbors who are experiencing cancer.
And we strive to be attentive to any needs within our congregation.
